About

Hi, I’m Lindsay!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m first and foremost a wife to my amazing husband, David, and mama to our twins, Eleanor and Shepherd, who were born after 7 years of infertility and unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss. In addition to my two earthside children, I am also a mama to 9 sweet babies in heaven, and it’s through their story that Catalyst for Courage was born. After walking through my own season of suffering, I became certified as a Reproductive Trauma & Grief Coach and Birth and Bereavement Doula to help other women find courage in the midst of their pain-filled journeys of suffering, grief, loss, and uncertainty after experiencing infertility and/or pregnancy or infant loss. I know how difficult the journeys of infertility, miscarriage, and pregnancy after loss can be because I’ve lived them.

Fun Facts...

I’m a little bit of a nerd and am obsessed with Harry Potter! I live in the Upstate of SC with my husband, David, our twins Eleanor and Shepherd, and our two fur babies Layla and Bowman. On the weekends you may find us on the lake wakeboarding and waterskiing, hiking and adventuring, watching Harry Potter, or enjoying a family picnic in the park.

Currently...

I am probably sipping my 3rd or 4th cup of coffee of the day (I may have a tiny problem), wishing you were here beside me. I wish I could give you the biggest hug right now and tell you that you are not alone. I can relate to where you are right now, deep in the thick of it all, hoping and praying for a miracle, for healing, and for breakthrough.

I am so grateful you’re here. Nothing lights me up more than helping women walking a difficult path to motherhood to feel, own, and find courage in their journeys and feel less alone.

My hope...

is to help support you as you navigate your journey own journey of infertility, pregnancy/infant loss, or pregnancy after infertility or loss. My approach to coaching is to be a safe space for you to process whatever it is you’re going through in any stage of your reproductive journey. Maybe you’re about to start IVF. Maybe you just had another miscarriage. Maybe you just saw your very first positive pregnancy test after a long season of infertility. Maybe you just found out you’re pregnant again after a loss. Or maybe you don’t know what your next step is in your journey and you’re just feeling overwhelmed, stressed, defeated, or a little hopeless. I would love to hear your story over a cup of coffee (or even a glass of wine!) and learn how I can best support you on your journey. I know that no matter how difficult your journey has been, that it is possible to have hope again and to even thrive in the midst of your journey, regardless of the outcomes. No matter what you’ve been through, you are deserving of support.

What people are saying.

“Lindsay’s journey has given my husband and I great hope after dealing with infertility and an unexpected miscarriage in late 2019. Lindsay has truly shown me how to have grace and patience when I really just want to be angry at the world for things I can’t control. Lindsay’s life and encouragement is a stepping stone for women everywhere struggling to find hope in their journey to become mothers.”
